The 21-year-old Wozniacki, who has crashed out of the WTA Championship in Istanbul, she has lost two out of three matches in the tournament. Wozniacki has won more number of WTA matches than any other player this season and also bagged six WTA Tour titles at Dubai Tennis Championships, BNP Paribas Open, Family Circle Cup at Charleston, e-Boks Sony Ericsson Open, Brussels Ladies Open and New Haven Open. The top seed Wozniacki has remained World No. 1 WTA player to finish the season for the second consecutive time.
Wozniacki has arrived in China on Sunday to watch McIlroy play for the first time, as 2011 US Open champion McIlroy won the prize money of $2 million, after winning the Shanghai Masters event. The 22-year-old Rory McIlroy has clinched the golf’s richest prize of the year and bagged almost $15 million, but it’s still short comparing to the Wozniacki’s $20 million income from WTA tournament and endorsements this year.
The report says that, Carolina Wozniacki and Rory McIlroy have been dating since Wimbledon championship. McIlroy said he is very excited to see Carolina here to watch golf and it was the first time that at a golf tournament.
